My first impression of Chrome is, “got to have it”. Chrome is Google’s new and first web browser. Is does not come to me as a large shock however, I found the web browser to be very nice experiments. It is clean and really, really simple to use. A lot of new browser now like Chrome and IE8, have new privacy opinion.

Mygazines.com, a Youtube or Hulu for Magazines?

August 5, 2008 - 2:19 pm No Comments

Besides the odd name, mygazines.com is pretty cool. The concept is that someone scans and uploads their magazine to the site and people view it, simple. However it seems odd that people can upload these newly released magazines, like from this month, without getting in any legal problems. This almost seems impossible, that’s why I emailed the company to ask them how this is legal, I will post the response as soon as I get it. But forgetting the legal stuff this site is easy use. It is a little slow, but once you get your magazine its not that bad. There of course in this web 2.0 world, is a social part to the site. You can share articles and bring in your contacts. You do get what you get for free, some magazines are low quality, however most are not that bad. Over all its a great site, but it will be seen how long this site can last.

The Olympics on your computer, Vista machines that is

August 1, 2008 - 3:34 pm No Comments

Today NBC launched there Media Center app, that will show all of the Olympic converge in your windows computer. I downloaded it to my Vista machine today, and acutely enjoyed my experiences. Now the Olympics do  not start until 8/8/08, but they do offer the Olympic trails. The videos that I say was fairly high quality, and their saying that most of the content will be in HD. However to get the full experiences you must download the videos to your computer, but you can watch it while it downloads. The menu system in this app was created using the tvtonic.com, app. Acutely it is the same beside the video. Over all it is worth downloading if you have a Vista media center PC, and are really into the Olympics.

PS. I tride to do a video on the app, but it did not turn out to well, I will try agin.

emachineshop.com, is a site that allows you to design any 3D object you want in there special software. You than admittedly get the price to build it, and than this company builds it and sends it to you. This is worth taking a look at, I might just make something and post the picture up here.
